Ms. M in Boudoir

Ms. M what a lovely woman, inside and out! We connected on many levels and I felt like we’ve known each other forever. Maybe due to the hours we spent on the phone a few nights before our session chatting it up about everything and anything!

I found we had so much in common, such as she has 5 kids I have 4 she is going through a divorce and well, I’m in the same boat.

The one thing we did not have in common was our travels, as I have never left Jersey except for 1 week to Fl in 1994 Ms. M has traveled a lot and even invited me to Jamaica one day! I think I will take her up on it too :)

Grandmother of 8, and loving her curves, she rocked her session like a pro!

I hope I feel like this at 54!

We celebrated her beauty, her wisdom, her love of life!

Sebastian + Mom & Dad

I will say it right now that I am not a fan of photographing 10 week old babes, simply cause they just are not newborns in which they do not have much movement or at 6 months in which they can sit and be more interactive.

I did warn mom, but she so wanted to capture her little bundle of lovableness in a couple of cute hats, which I don’t blame her for, so I obliged.

We did mange to get what mom needed :) I also asked mom to come back to me in the summer when we can introduce Sebastian to the sands of the Jersey Shore!

That shoot I know we will all be very happy with!

Sebastian is just too adorable with those chub cheeks! Agree?

Yesterday I loved using my new seamless backdrop in both my sessions :)

Mrs. F in Boudoir

Well here are her own words on how this came about :)

There is one strong and handsome man in my life that has given me encouragement and strength to overcome many personal struggles including my weight. He has loved me completely and effortlessly for the last four years. I would do anything for him. This session was my way to show my husband that he means the world to me. He has shown me how to love myself for who I am, he makes me feel attractive even in gym sweats. I am happy he has and continues to support me on my commitment to be happy and healthy inside and out. Thank you Adita for capturing these perfect pictures of me for myself, my husband and all the women that struggle to love their bodies:)

2-17-2012 Self Port Project

Spending the night at a local hotel setting the stage for tomorrow’s Boudoir with a new client.

Ms.M is a mother to 5 grown children and 8 grand kiddies! Totally amazing personality and loving her curves! She called me stating that she is newly divorced and wanted to celebrate her new beginnings! So what better way than to celebrate her new confidence and love of life than with a photo shoot!

2-10-2012

Slowly coming out from the darkness this nasty cold just has to take its course, a large number of employees at my work place have it and it’s just a miserable thing! Can’t wait to be 100% myself!

Other than that had a great time watching my mentor and fellow photog Ms Christa Meola during her Live Boudoir workshop on CreativeLive!

Looking forward to another Fine Art Nude session later in the week, this one will be a little different including more of light & shadow kind of mood.

2-9-2012 Self Port Project

So I am getting over a nasty bug which did not allow me to celebrate my daughters birthday appropriately yesterday, so this weekend we shall make up for it!

Today i am wearing my Timberland jacket that has not fit all winter long and it finally zippers woohoo!!

Also keeping my eyes on CreativeLive for a Boudoir workshop featuring my mentor Ms.Christa Meola! So excited for this!

2-8-2012 Self Port Project + in bed

So I felt something coming on since Monday night and I started using my aromatherapy oils Tea Tree and Lavender I swear by these cause it stops the bugs from becoming too serious.

But I did have body aches and runny nose and that horrible nasal drip, yuck! So this called for the second part of getting well called “Rest” and that I did!

I’m feeling a lot better my son had me take 2 tbsp of Dayquill and I should be 75% better by the morning :)

Plans changed as I was going to my daughters for her birthday, but I don’t want to leave any germs there, so she will come here for her cake and as we celebrate 23 years of life!

2-7-2012 Self Port Project

I can’t wait for Spring! Just because :)

Here I am once again ready for another day of gorgeous sunlight and fresh air!
Last night I had such a good time with all my kids, my daughter came by to join her brother for bday cake, I love seeing her!

Now tomorrow is her birthday and she will be 24! Getting her an ice cream cake her fave and we all are going to
her place to celebrate!

Then the birthdays slow down…till May when my Moe will be 14!

Remember 16?

I sure do!

Wow 16 what a great time in my life, no worries, just fun times all the times.

I remember roller skating, yup skating lol and dancing all the time at every opportunity I could get! In my house just for fun or at my High Schools dances or local clubs.

Love music to this day, I remember hanging out my window with my beat box blasting the best disco hits ever, Donna Summer, The Trammps, Tavares, ABBA, The Bee Gees, Gloria Gaynor , Evelyn Champagne King and of course the club hits like Amant (If there’s Love), Dan Hartman (Instant replay) Liquid Gold ( My Baby’s Baby) and of course Love & Kisses ( I’ve found Love…Now that I have Found You)

oh life was so good then with just great music and friends!

Now as one of my 3 son’s Stephen turns 16 I am first of all so very thankful that I am here in this lifetime to celebrate it with him.

But in this day and age it is so different than mine, his interests are video games, Yu-gi-oh cards and Japanese Anime!

Such a huge difference, but he excels in one area that I wish I had and maybe I’d be rich today lol and that is his Academics!

Has been on the Honor Roll since 6th grade and continues to be has perfect attendance (I would cut class every now and then lol)  was just named Student of the Month (out of about 500 kids) for January 2012 in his Freshman year of HS! This was a huge honor to both I and the school staff.

He aspires to become a successful investor in the Real Estate and Stock markets, and contemplating on being a Risk Taker aka an Entrepreneur, (Sounds like his mom)

So today on his 16th birthday he is home with his family playing his card game and we look forward to another 16 + years of happiness, health and wealth, hopefully he can buy his mama a house one day :)

One thing though I do not like about this kid of mine is that he HATES being photographed! I from day one photographed all my 4 kids every single day, that may just have something to do with it :) So the images that follow were taken as he did whatever he was doing and I tried to make it seem not obvious, but he soon caught on to me LOL  and my devious deed!

Finally he SMILES for me!
