First I wanna share these adorable children, Jack & Megan with a pic from probably our 2nd shoot at Sandy Hook Lighthouse in Nov 2009
And below images from our shoot on 9/29/12 and introducing new baby sister Emma!
And there you have the extended Cooke family kids!
Thank you so much to mom and dad for returning yet another year and allowing me to capture your children’s smiles
As I sit and wait on yet another storm predicted for the area and had to postpone a beach session till tomorrow, I decided to finally blog the rest of Alexander’s session.
The session was for Alexander and his cousin which was visiting from Connecticut, mom and dad jumped in at the end
Stay Safe everyone!!
Just finished up with this handsome little guy images, here are a few from his session in Ship Bottom.
He loved eating the sand, as they all do!
Yes! We finally had our shoot,
On the beach before the storm and in the Studio
This family is just too precious!
More later in the week but for now… here’s some baby toes & baby lashes to get you by lol
I sure do!
Wow 16 what a great time in my life, no worries, just fun times all the times.
I remember roller skating, yup skating lol and dancing all the time at every opportunity I could get! In my house just for fun or at my High Schools dances or local clubs.
Love music to this day, I remember hanging out my window with my beat box blasting the best disco hits ever, Donna Summer, The Trammps, Tavares, ABBA, The Bee Gees, Gloria Gaynor , Evelyn Champagne King and of course the club hits like Amant (If there’s Love), Dan Hartman (Instant replay) Liquid Gold ( My Baby’s Baby) and of course Love & Kisses ( I’ve found Love…Now that I have Found You)
oh life was so good then with just great music and friends!
Now as one of my 3 son’s Stephen turns 16 I am first of all so very thankful that I am here in this lifetime to celebrate it with him.
But in this day and age it is so different than mine, his interests are video games, Yu-gi-oh cards and Japanese Anime!
Such a huge difference, but he excels in one area that I wish I had and maybe I’d be rich today lol and that is his Academics!
Has been on the Honor Roll since 6th grade and continues to be has perfect attendance (I would cut class every now and then lol) was just named Student of the Month (out of about 500 kids) for January 2012 in his Freshman year of HS! This was a huge honor to both I and the school staff.
He aspires to become a successful investor in the Real Estate and Stock markets, and contemplating on being a Risk Taker aka an Entrepreneur, (Sounds like his mom)
So today on his 16th birthday he is home with his family playing his card game and we look forward to another 16 + years of happiness, health and wealth, hopefully he can buy his mama a house one day
One thing though I do not like about this kid of mine is that he HATES being photographed! I from day one photographed all my 4 kids every single day, that may just have something to do with it So the images that follow were taken as he did whatever he was doing and I tried to make it seem not obvious, but he soon caught on to me LOL and my devious deed!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHEN!!
LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!
Follow up to a previous post
Wow, what a fun-filled afternoon I had with this family!
We had to up the time to try to beat the rain that had been forecast for late afternoon, so instead of a 6pm shoot we opted for a 4pm shoot. The sun was beautifully diffused the way I love it! There were a few more beach-goers on the sand then I normally encounter, hence my after 5 scheduling. We did find a spot, the tide was rising, the waves were crashing, it was perfect! My family quickly followed direction and we got more than our share of fun and laughter throughout the shoot.
The only challenge I faced was the ever independent Master “C” at 16 months he governs the beach with such enthusiasm, I am not used to seeing in babies this young. Grandma joined in as a bystander and she did mention little Master “C” goes frequently to the beach so he absolutely loves it! He kept us all on our feet, well I figure someone had to lol
Now the young ladies, Miss “C” and Miss “D” what a set of divas they are! Loved their outgoing personality, their stylish looks and amazing smiles!
Mom and Dad, a very loving couple, and honestly I saw them as teenagers in love through my lens, for one instant I could sense them as young and in a carefree kinda love.
This is a family with big love in their hearts!
*I thank you Mrs.M for allowing me to capturethese special moments with your beautiful family *
Today I used both the Canon 50D for the close up group shots paired with the Canon 17-40 F4
Also the Canon 1Ds MKII paired with the Canon 100 F2.8L Macro for the portrait and candid shots
All naturally diffused light provided by Mother Nature
THE CHRYSANTHEMUMS & other friends of the family
Thank you all for stopping by!
What a fantabulous family! Baby Ethan, a total ham! Mom & dad, a totally delicious personality!
We would always miss each others’ call and when I mean always I mean a few weeks of calling each other and we would always miss the call!
So voice-mail it was in the beginning, then finally we got everything ironed out through email and snail mail and the turnout was fantastic!
I don’t know what to say, my families keep getting more and more fun to work with, and this one was totally amazing!
And I finally got to speak to Mrs. E. Wow! I almost fell back when I heard her voice!
Thank you E. family for allowing me to capture your memories.
A huge Thank You to Andrea for assisting!
